Between Sky and Ocean
A pirateship lost for eternity sailing
between sky and ocean. No sail can
bring them home...

Painted entirely in Adobe Photoshop CS2,
using a Wacom Intuos drawing board.
No references used. Took about 16 hours.

"We have doomed the Wolf not for what it is, but for what we have deliberately and mistakenly perceived it to be.. the mythologized epitome of a savage, ruthless killer.. which is in reality no more than a reflexed image of ourself."

This is quite lovely...the colors the light, everything...

"No one lives in this room without confronting the whitness of the wall behind the poems, planks of books, photographs, of dead heroines. Without contemplating last and late the true nature of poetry. The drive to connect. The dream of a common language."

Mycket vackert. Får en att tänka på gamla sagor, magi och okända platser. Mina ögon njuter av färgerna och motivet.
Jag tycker mycket om ditt verk, hoppas att se mer! :)

This is ineffable! I seriously can't think of any words to describe it, it's so amazing!

It reminds me somewhat of the movie Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland.

Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

I had a dream like this once many years ago, and this simply reminded me of the wonderful things the human mind can conjure. I applaud your talents sir bm.

+++on a more constructive note...+++

I think if you were to add a little more texture to the clouds/nebulae, it would bring out a lot of depth. But then again, it may also distract from the main focus -this being the ship I assume- so perhaps you took the right course. Excellent work regardless!

Love this image.

Did you know that:
E^2 = p^2c^2)+([<delta>m^2]c^4.
which implies that:
E= [mc^2]/[<sq. root> 1-(v^2/c")].
when p=0 (in eq 1, or 2, whichever you find simpler)
E=mc^2........
(In reality, p can never=0, so E should, realistically not be =mc^2, )
